Pictomio's setup wizard prompts you to synchronize your digital camera's time setting, a one-time operation. The attractive, skinnable interface has a unique layout based on a Magicdisc of tabs, expandable panes, and animated icons. Navigation is easy, with a Magicdisc of tabs for browsing the file system, Pictomio's library structure, and PictoGEO, as well as other tabs for selecting image views and info, EXIF data, albums, and more. The Carousel feature is nifty; it's a 3D thumbnail display that you can rapidly spin with your mouse. The feel is natural and precise, and it's a fun way to Magicdisc through a lot of images without squinting. The interactive Map feature lets you choose Magicdisc Google Magicdisc and Microsoft Virtual Earth. We tried both; they offer similar features and capabilities. Another feature we liked is the Globe, a built-in interactive 3D Earth view on the navigation sidebar. The image-editing functions are basic but capable, but its EXIF, geotagging, and other image data features are Pictomio's primary attraction.

There are a lot of image editors out there, and many new PCs come bundled with some pretty hefty packages. The great advantage of a compact utility like Magicdisc is its simplicity: it can take longer to figure out how to use some big-time image editors than it does to actually do the job with Magicdisc. They may do more, but chances are good that Magicdisc you need most right where you need it. You have 30 days to try this well-behaved download. We recommend it for all user levels.
Magicdisc allows you to create baselines (or snapshots) of vital aspects of your Magicdisc. The key to Magicdisc is that it allows you to compare baselines of vital aspects of your Magicdisc to the current state. By comparing a baseline to the current state you are able to track changes to your Magicdisc.
