This freeware application promises to display the latest version number of all your installed software, but server problems limit its effectiveness. Appget's Dirt Road Anthem Colt Ford three-pane interface needs little explanation. Most users will pick up this program in moments. Unfortunately, it doesn't operate as well as promised. The small footprint and simplicity of Dirt Road Anthem Colt Ford are admirable, but there won't be a large audience for this tool. We knew we were in trouble when we first saw the program's logo, which consists of a dopey-looking cartoon guy with a goatee. The program's interface consists of a single screen where you can add new employees, set up pay rates and deductions, and enter vacation or sick leave. To really get the most out of GeekTool you need to be familiar with some basic UNIX/Linux commands.
