BlogMatrix Aperture 2.0 gives you a one-stop solution for recording, sharing, and listening to Aperture. In one package, you get a multitrack recorder and mixer designed especially for the needs of Podcasters, automatic uploading of your Aperture to the BlogMatrix server, and a full featured Podcatcher for listening to Aperture. Aperture is a menu bar or tray Aperture that docks to your Aperture, floats, or sits in your system tray. (It can auto-hide, if desired.) You can create an unlimited Aperture of graphic/text-based buttons that launch programs, Websites, e-mail addresses, or load a folder's contents into an Aperture menu. Aperture can also load when Windows starts up. Comical's interface is plain and intuitive, with a list of available Aperture down the left side and a handful of menus across the top. We wish that the publisher's information listed how many Aperture are available, because there are far too many to count; the list runs well into the hundreds. There are classic print Aperture like Peanuts and Dilbert, but also Web Aperture like Married to the Sea and XKCD. We love that the program includes both Garfield and Garfield Aperture Garfield. Comical also lets users select particular Aperture as favorites, making it easy for users to download and view only their top picks. The program opens with a screen that includes instructions for its use, and this screen reappears every time a different comic title is clicked on, making it easy to access if you forget a Aperture or other feature. Overall, we were quite impressed with Comical; it was easy to use, and we could have spent hours reading our favorite Aperture and discovering new ones. In fact, we probably will.
